Sierra Leone Gara
Tie-Dye Shirt
Brilliant Hand-Dyed Colors and Gorgeous Embroidery
This stunning shirt is hand-stitched and tie-dyed using the
traditional gara fabric dyeing method. Both synthetic and
natural dyes are used including kola nut. Its generous size
and cut makes it suitable for people of many sizes and shapes.
The work is done by ex-combatant child soldiers formerly involved
in conflicts in Sierra Leone.
